Tolou’s Lodge has 17 chalets with their own bathrooms and equipped with bedding, towels and warm water. 15 Chalets with two single beds, 2 chalets with with a double bed and two single beds.

Guests who wish to camp are also welcome and can do so next to the chalets in their tent, caravan or camper and use the chalet’s bathroom and barbeque (braai) facilities.

The chalet balconies offer superb photo opportunities and a place to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Some of our guests even opt to sleep out on the balcony to enjoy the night sky.

Cyclists, Cycle Tours and Motorcyclists, everyone is welcome.

The lodge is pet friendly but only at own risk and on prior permission from the lodge owners. Please inquire on booking.

Ice and wood (braaihout) is available. The nearest petrol station is in Betta which is 26kms from the lodge.

The chalets have electricity points for camping fridges, this is all powered by solar power.

Restaurant

In our Restaurant scrumptious Namibian farmstyle meals are served.
There is also a bar where you can quench your thirst after your long journey.

We offer Dinner, Bed & Breakfast or only Bed & Breakfast.

All dinner meals are three course and depending on the number of guests can be buffet or a set menu.

Lunch meals must be arranged before arrival. Lunch and breakfast picnic packs are available on request.

Activities

Tolou’s Lodge offers you spectacular sunset drives in the mountains.

These drives are not self-drive due to the harsh terrain.

For Nature Lovers there are self-guided hiking routes, ranging from 2 to 8 kms.

Bird enthusiast can visit our Bird Dam where a large variety of bird species can be viewed.

Oryx (Gemsbok), Springbuck (Springbok), Steenbok, Bat-eared Fox (Bakoor Jakkals), Meerkat and Ostrich (Volstruis) can be seen in the surrounding area.
